Send Another Note
Oprah just had a TOWN MEETING on her show today around the fallout of the “Imus Comment”. She said she wanted to do more shows to talk about “what next”.
I think we need to remind her that honoring natural hair MUST be a part of the change we make in our perception of beauty for black women.
Please go to the Oprah & Tyra Campaign! post and send your note today.
The more often you can send them, the better.
NOW IS THE TIME TO MAKE THIS CHANGE!
Thanks in advance.

I did it again. I sent another one. We need this campaign! We need to fight for our rights as people of colour! I am so tired of the negitive things that come out of peoples mouths about us. Everyone should do this!!! Send the pre-written letters to them. Wake these TV people up, everyone!! These women used to be black at one time. Make them remember they were at one time.
Love yall

I was working for a top investment firm here in Colorado Springs before I was fired on July 16th for some supposed training issues. I am series 7 licensed through the National Association of Securities Dealers. So I have an in-depth knowledge of buying, selling, and trading stocks and bonds.
My intent was to represent this company and educate the black community here. I was called a “NIGGA” in class by a white man. He said “Hey, Nigga” and proceeded to explain that it should be okay to call me that, saying: “I didn’t say NIGGER, n-g-g-e-r, I said NIGGA” right in front of the entire class.
When I repoted it, HR did nothing about it, but they stopped me from being trained and promoted…and eventually I was fired.
